Using ArcMap or ArcExplorer on your desktop computer, you can add the Hurricane Ivan Flood Imagery to your view without downloading anything. Follow these steps to add the data to your view.
ArcMap
  1. Open ArcMap
  2. In the 'File' menu, select 'Add Data From Internet' and then 'Add Website...'
  3. Enter 'http://penncat.pasda.psu.edu' in the URL box and click OK
  4. A Web browser window should open with the PennCAT Website
  5. Click the 'Browse' Tab at the upper left portion of the screen
  6. Click 'PEMA' in the left portion of the screen
  7. You should now see the Tropical Depression Ivan imagery listed in the right portion of the screen
  8. Click the 'Add to ArcMap' button to add the imagery to your view
ArcExplorer - Java
  1. Open ArcExplorer
  2. Click the 'Add Layers' Button
  3. Double-click 'WWW'
  4. Double-click 'Add Web Site'
  5. Enter 'http://gis2.pasda.psu.edu' in the URL box and click OK
  6. Select 'Ivan' in the left portion of the window
  7. Double-click 'Ivan' in the right portion of the window to add the imagery to your view
  8. Close the Catalog window

Alternatively, you can view this data and other data in PASDA's Catalog of Internet MapServices by visiting http://penncat.pasda.psu.edu in your Web browser.
